These lifetimes are not extended on each visit; Google’s default is 2 years and the site shortens it. Purpose: audience measurement (pages viewed, referrer, device, approximate country). The IP address is anonymised: Google Analytics 4 neither logs nor stores it. No advertising and no ad sharing: ad storage, ad personalisation and Google signals are switched off.

Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Retention at Google: 14 months. Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; for visitors in the United States, no personal information is sold or shared within the meaning of the CCPA/CPRA).
